    • Notes: Riding a fast moving cold front that was wreaking havoc over New Orleans and the East coast. Taken while level at 15,500 (Notice autopilot is on with altitude hold on) about 90 miles west of Fort Stockton, Texas.

    • Notes: Actual highest ground speed this trip was 270 in level flight but I only got a picture of 267. I have seen 287 kts gs in descent but no photo. This was a West to East flight from KISZ (Blue Ash, Cincinnati OH) to KBDR (Bridgeport CT) - the active waypoint was LHY VOR (Lake Henry). I was "surfing" a fast moving cold front. TAS was 174kts at FL170 - the tailwind component was 96kts. You can see by the backup attitude indicator in the left side of the photo that I was in level flight.
