WALL OF FAME
    • Name: Christian Mueller (passenger, member)
    • Airline: SCFA - Super Constellation Flyers Association
    • Date: 18 August 2007
    • Notes: Groundspeed (453km/h) This was a 'memorial flight' specially for the members who have been on the ferry flight from Camarillo, USA to Basel, Switzerland in 2004. The first record came from that flight... It was a phantastic flight from Basel to Altenrhein, then a trip with a historic railway for a lunch and in the evening back to Basel with the Connie. A perfect day! And a new record!

    • Notes: The photo was taken aboard the Lockheed Super Constellation (L-1049/C-121C) "Star of Switzerland" N73544 on its ferry flight from Camarillo (California USA) to Basel-Mulhouse (Switzerland). That day we started at Glasgow-Prestwick, flying to next stop in Paris LeBourget. The actual position where the photo was taken was somewhere over Dover. The funny thing that is mounted with Duck tape ontop the Garmin 530 navigation system is a TV camera, which was used by a swiss TV team which has been aboard the plane. They made a reportage about this exceptional flight.
